Longrow was first distilled in 1973 and is a double distilled, heavily peated single malt produced by the Springbank Distillery. Less than 100 casks of Longrow are filled each year making this whisky a very unique item.

This Longrow Red Single Malt has been matured for 7 years in ex-bourbon barrels followed by 3 years in fresh refill ex-Malbec barriques from the De Toren Private Cellar in Stellenbosch South Africa. Only 9000 bottles at cask strength have been released worldwide

Our Tasting Notes

Nose: Martine notes expose red fruits of cherry, raspberry and currants, there’s some old oak and freshly pressed leather.

Palate: Summer berries take control, figs and plums, bonfire smoke and charred orchard spice.

Finish: Cherries, berry jam and smouldering oak.
